Special teams, special plays, special players, is what this weekend was all about. A very happy cheers and thanks to Jake Marano & Tess Little for putting on one of the greatest weddings that could be. Lucky enough for the Birds, their bass player had a hand in the matter and now has some natural relicing added to his 4-string from a very special gold band. Birds like shiny objects. The Press Room was lit up the night before their journey into eternity together with laughs, Shakedowns, Revivals, and only a handful of Free Bird chants. What was that Talking Heads song again? I can't remember Patrick Little - fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you for not knowing how to be Taken to the River.

Certainly the most classy of shows for the hatchlings and they flew into the night until a very Thirsty Moose entered their flock, bringing them back to earth. As is tradition, you must see the bride the night before the wedding just to make sure it's a go, and the bride did not disappoint. With love in the air and potentially one too many bourbon mules, they danced their spray tans to the limit and sunburns for all to see. Not a creature was stirring, not even a Bagels, not even a bombardment of messages from Michigan's finest future alum. Best behavior in the house of Tess. Wholesome and full of bass, with belly's left with no space, a weekend to remember for some, not for others. May these two love birds fly away and have the best of luck as they become one.
